RSVP for New Faculty Orientation (NFO)
(tenure and non-tenure track)
All new full-time faculty are strongly encouraged to attend the three-day NFO, August 8-10, 2022, in order to receive essential information for working at UNG.
Part-time faculty are strongly encouraged to attend the three-day NFO or to attend an evening online orientation on August 18, 2022, from 6:00 p.m.-- 9:00 p.m.
The three-day NFO schedule is below:
Monday, August 8, 2022 (Faculty from all campuses attend at Dahlonega)
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Sign-in and Continental Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Dining Hall Banquet Room
Tuesday, August 9, 2022 (Faculty from all campuses attend at Gainesville)
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Sign-in and Continental Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Gainesville Campus (Nesbitt 3110AB)
Wednesday, August 10, 2022 (Faculty attend at either Dahlonega or Gainesville Campus)
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Sign-in and Continental Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Dahlonega Campus (Health and Natural Sciences 123)
Gainesville Campus (Nesbitt 5105)

For faculty teaching at the Dahlonega or Gainesville campuses, we recommend that you attend Wednesday's orientation sessions on the campus where you will do the majority of your teaching. If you are teaching at the Blue Ridge, Cumming, or Oconee campuses, attend at either the Dahlonega or Gainesville campus locations.

While part-time faculty may attend the NFO full-time events, we also hold an evening orientation that is specifically designed for part-time faculty.
